Engineer (Mechanical / Stress / HVAC, Process, Civil Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls)
- 2–4 years’ (Jr.), 5–10 years’ (Int.) or 10+ years’ (Sr.) progressive experience. 4–year degree in engineering from an accredited university and registration with provincial governing body (engineering stamp for P.Eng.).
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering calculations, deliverables and project delivery processes. Plan, design, evaluate, and advise on application of engineering principles; comply with established project, Company, Client, and regulatory codes / standards. Translate Client specifications and project design criteria / objectives into deliverables (i.e. study reports, simulations, calculations, data sheets, Material Requisitions, Construction Work Packages, etc.).
Technologist / Designer Civil Structural, Mechanical / Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls
- 2–4 years’ (Jr.), 5–10 years’ (Int.) or 10+ years’ (Sr.) progressive experience to our teams. Diploma from a recognized technology program (equivalent combination of education and experience considered) and registration with provincial governing body.
- Incorporate preliminary and multi-discipline reviews into design; ensure designs are accurate, functional, safe, and complete; ensure Client specifications are translated into 3D models (AutoCAD 2010, MicroStation drafting, and 3D design/drafting such as AutoPlant, PlantSpace, OpenPlant), drawings, sketches, lists of materials and other types of design drawings.
Project Manager- 10+ years’ progressive industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading the efforts of assigned engineering and project services resources. Accountable for the overall management of project scope, cost, quality, and schedule through to project completion in accordance with Project Management Manual and established Client standards). Proactively manage internal and external stakeholder expectations and project needs / concerns.
Project Coordinator / Engineer- 5+ years’ progressive industry experience and a 4-year degree in engineering (Project Engineer) from an accredited university and registered with the provincial governing body.
- Support Project Manager in development and review of project plans, estimates, costs, contracts, schedules, and resources.
Construction Coordinator / Supervisor- 8+ years construction experience with a minimum of 5 years in a supervision role plus journeyperson (Electrician, Instrumentation, Pipefitter, Boilermaker, Millwright), Red Seal or a technical diploma and recognized training in Construction Management.
- Maintain contractor performance, budget, schedule and quality of construction activities (field reporting / permitting, compliance monitoring of contractors, ensure work activities performed in accordance with contract documents, scope of work, and governing regulations).
Project Controls- 5+ years’ progressive industry experience.
- Track project costs, create requisitions, track POs and reconcile invoices, complete financial analysis and reporting on multiple projects; responsible for project forecasting. Ensure consistent quality products, including cost estimate plan, cost estimate and cost estimate basis, and all required supporting documentation for budgets, prospecting, proposal, definition, and implementation phases. Project schedule development and tracking.
Procurement (Buyer / Expeditor)- 5+ years’ progressive industry experience.
- Buyer creates and issues Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Expressions of Interest (EOIs); performs bid evaluations, issue clarifications to vendors and sets up clarification meetings if required.
- Expediter ensures vendors’ adherence to schedule and resolve schedule / performance concerns; executes all packaging, permitting and freight activities and ensures they are executed in a timely and effective manner.
Technical Document Control- 5+ years’ progressive industry experience.
- Responsible for all project records and document management. Operates and maintains systems for the collection, classification, retrieval and retention of records, images, documents and information. Advanced computer knowledge and skills in Excel required. Post-secondary (business, records management or related); equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
